LOUISE MARSHALL – And I was Like… / Where’s the Party?
Skyline Recordings areamped for Louise’s new record, a superb double AA ‘Where’s The Party?’ and ‘And I was Like…’comingout March 27th on both vinyl and digital.
Louise is known for her incredible voice, which has a delicious rasp every now and then. Her writing is always en pointe too. An album release is coming in the summer as there’s too much not to share – also extremely exciting.
Louise teamed up with the brilliant Geoff Gascoyne last year and released ‘Happy on my own’ and ‘Stop, Look and Listen’ (under the name Marsh Mellow). After the success of those two tracks, reaching number one in the soul charts, Geoff again co-wrote and produced these two beauties, ‘Where’s the Party?’ and ‘And I was Like…”.
Top vocalist and musician, Louise was in the UK Charts for many weeks at number one with LF System’s ‘Afraid to Feel’ (2022).
More recently she’s been on tour with David Gilmour; and Jools Holland and is regularly part of Jool’s Hootenany; when she’s not performing with her other band, ‘Marshall, Gilmour, Webb’.
Louise is a regular performer at Ronnie’s both upstairs and downstairs, so she’s qualified in the extreme.
